What challenges were you facing before working with us, and how did we help solve it?
Gulf Marine was operating an Israeli built floating drydock with a proprietary Israeli control system that was largely inoperative without any legacy support.
We determined that a complete control system change was necessary to continue to operate the drydock safely and efficiently for our benefit and the benefit of our customers.
After conducting a review of firms with this capability, we selected Bergan Marine Systems. The advantage that we saw with Bergan was that they were a one stop shop.
They evaluated the drydock pumps, valves, and actuators and designed and custom built a system using internal resources which greatly reduced Gulf Marine’s design and build risk exposure.
