Electronic Technician

Pensacola, FL, On-Site

Job Description

  • Assist with board assembly, testing, and rework
  • Troubleshoot electronic circuit boards to the component level for both through-hole and surface-mount technologies
  • Provide support to soldering technicians as needed
  • Program and calibrate electronic devices
  • Assist in developing test fixtures and procedures for new products
  • Support inventory activities as required
  • Work closely with Engineering to ensure accurate BOMs and build documentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout all electronic production areas
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives

Education Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent military training.
  • Relevant work experience may be considered in place of formal education.

Preferred Experience

  • 3+ years in a manufacturing or technical troubleshooting environment or technical troubleshooting environment.
  • Military background.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Previous experience in electronic device manufacturing.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work overtime if necessary.
